I love images of boats and Meols beach on The Wirral is a great place to shoot, taking care to get the tides right.

At low tide the sea just vanishes, as it does on the West coast all the way up to the Solway. Planning is essential to get some water around the boats, and to avoid being caught out.

Sunset this particular day was a let down, so drama was created using a long exposure to give the sky dynamic movement.
