Windermere is a place I normally avoid, but on the West Bank there are places that are quiet, and very picturesque. The Lake District for me cannot get any better when there is a boat in the image.
I had a workshop client over from Singapore for a week and one morning there was mist in the valley near out hotel, so we headed over to this location on Windermere. The morning was unforgettable with still water, mist, and lots of boats.
The only issue here is the ducks who think it is feeding time as soon as you stand near the water.
