Neutral density (ND) filters are an indispensable tool for any landscape photographer wanting to reduce or slow down shutter speeds.

These lens grade optical glass filters allow you to capture details in the brightest and darkest areas of your shot, with no loss of detail, true to life colour with no colour cast, and no dark corners due to poor light transmission associated with lower quality filters.

Graduated filters help to bring down the exposure of the sky to bring it within the dynamic range of your camera, ensuring a more balanced expsoure with less chance of blown highlights. Shadows will also have more detail with less blocking of the drak areas.

ND filters have wide applications, the most obvious being long exposures for creating dramatic cloud movement across a sky, flattening water, and creating misty water effects, such as waves over rocks.  Made of high quality lens grade optical glass, they will allow you to capture every little detail in your images without distortions or colour alterations.

Construction

All NiSi square filters use Nano Coating, which indicates the use of the exclusive Nano Coating treatment which makes the filter water-repellent and oleophobic for perfect sharpness. NiSi filters also use IR technology, i.e. the coating that blocks infrared light, and therefore eliminates the risk of magenta colour cast to give true to life colour. A gasket on the rear of ND filters further ensures there are no light leaks.
