NiSi Nano IRGND Hard Graduated Filter
75x100mm for Nisi M75 System
The NiSi Hard Graduated ND is ideal for scenes with a straight, even horizon, such as the coast, with a strong contrast between light from the sky and the ground. It may also be used for landscapes where there is a strong contrast and a straight horizon. With uneven horizons or parts of the scene which break the horizon, such as mountains, a Medium or Soft Graduated would be more suitable. A 2 Stop Hard Graduated is also useful as a general filter where light is brighter on the horizon in landscape scenes and can be stacked with a Soft Graduated for greater control of bright skies.
Hard edged Graduated ND filters are more useful on longer focal length lenses because the transition will be rendered much softer. A Soft Graduated filter will be rendered very soft because of the long focal length.
For many photographers the NiSi Medium Graduated ND filter is the ‘go-to’ filter for controlling and balancing exposure because of its flexibility and wide range of applications.
All NiSi IRGND are manufactured from Optical Quality Glass with polished edges and rounded corners, all NiSi Filters feature Nano coatings to repel water and reduce lens flare, with IR layers to reduce the amount of infra-red wavelength light entering the lens causing colour cast, giving natural colour and enhanced contrast
The NiSi M75 filter system is ideal for compact and mirrorless cameras with lenses that have a standard filter thread from 40.5mm to 67mm.
