Why the NiSi System?
Quality. The NiSi Filter Holder system is the best on the market, and also proved to be the best holder to pair with the 7-14 Adapter. Tests with many other filter holders showed that the Nisi V5 and V6 holders gave the best performance in terms of reduced vignetting. Please see the Details page. Also, there was no need to produce special rails, which would result in reduced performance, and light leaks.
The Nisi System also ships with additional adapter rings which make it an ideal system to use on other Olympus lenses, so one system, unlike others, will suit all lenses. The Nisi Polariser cannon be used with the Olympus 7-14 Pro, although there is a workaround, more information is provided on the Polariser Details Page.
Expand your creative expression
Filters are one of the most important accessories to landscape photographers, for controlling the light in a scene when the sky and ground are out of the Dynamic Range of the camera, and for manipulating the exposure for creating Long Exposures.
Bracketing and blending is one option, however getting it right-in-camera is far more rewarding. Long Exposures are also difficult without using an ND Filter. A number of 150mm Systems are available, including in from NiSi, which negate the point of using a compact system, and become impractical to use on other lenses such as the 12-40 f2.8 or 12-100 f4.
The logical conclusion was to develop a way to use 100mm filters.

Development of the Adapter
The 7-14 Pro Adapter has been carefully modelled by engineers using 3D software and prototyped through various stages using 3D printing technology. It is designed to accept the Nisi V5 / V6 filter holders to benefit from the quality of the Nisi system, and the quality of Nisi glass filters.
Tests with other filter holders showed that vignetting could occur when using two slots at the lens’ widest end, and modified rails with minimal slots could allow light leakage using ND filters and reduce the ability of slots to actually support filters. By producing the adapter to minute tolerances of 0.3mm, to accept one of the best filter holder systems on the market, the photographer has the best of both worlds.
Produced in Germany on commercial 3D printers they are of the highest quality possible. For more information please see the 7-14 Adapter Details section.

Fast Installation
Easy to fit, the 7-14 Adapter for Olympus 7-14 f2.8 Pro slides onto the lens. ‘Stops’ inside ensure perfect alignment whilst the built-in rubber gasket gives excellent grip. Holding the camera upside down even with filters fitted it will not dislodge. An additional ‘Security Plate’ is fitted to the rear for more protection against the Nisi filter holder detatching.

Full Rotation
The NiSi Filter holder can be rotated through any angle to allow for filters to be positioned as required for the scene. At 7mm there is no vignetting when filters are vertical. When angled very minor vignetting may be seen. Please see the Adapter Details Page for more information,
But….wow, what a terrific piece of kit!!! I now see just how much fun the filter system is, especially with the Olympus 7-14 lens. For anyone who’s been putting off buying filters for the 7-14 because of a lack of filter attachment method, the wait is over. Phil’s adaptor is beautifully engineered and manufactured. And his support was A1 too.
Being a landscape photographer I tried attaching filters with elastic bands but could not find a way to use ND’s for long exposures. This does the job perfectly and with no light leaks. I took Phil’s advice and also tried the Nisi IRND1000 despite having a Big Stopper and he was right, if you do long exposures, this is the one you need.
Can’t thank you enough for the adapter, I searched and searched hoping for a solution. It has released my lens from the burden of not being useable with filters and now I can use its full potential. What’s more Phil responded to every question, gave me tips and even called me to make sure I was happy. Great kit and great service.
I searched and searched but could not find how to use filters with the 7-14 and nearly bought an alternative lens. Phil’s Adapter came highly recommended when I searched on Social Media. Very pleased and thanks so much to Phil for all the help he also gave using filters.
Superb, it has allowed me to use this amazing lens to its fullest, works perfectly and doesn’t even take space in my bag. It fits amazingly well and I had full confidence walking around with it attached to the lens.
I was looking for a solution to use filters on the 7-14 and found Phil’s adapter came highly recommended, it is actually used widely here in Oz. Very well made and does the job perfectly.
There have been a number of ad hock attempts to solve the riddle of using filters on the 7-14. This does it perfectly. And it introduced me to Nisi. I got a new holder with adapters for other lenses AND a polarizer for half the cost I was about to spend on a Lee polarizer.
Well made does the job exactly as it should and fits like a glove, very impressed with the quality and materials.
This is exactly what I have been looking for, initially skeptical but no need, it fits perfectly, simple to use and a superb must have accessory for the 7-14 Pro.
Great kit, perfect fit, thought I would have to look at a 150mm filter solution but really no need, great job!
